Q. I seem to be arguing all the time with my
child. What can I do to improve our relationship?
A. One of the most important things parents can do
is to take time for unstructured activities with their
child. Studies have shown that as little as 15 minutes
a day spent in unstructured activities with a child
can create a significant bond of understanding and
renewed communication, and even alter negative
behavior. This may be a good place to start to rebuild
your positive relationship.
