Consult with a board-certified lactation consultant before or after you deliver. Other services include a breastfeeding helpline, nursing bras with fittings and pumps to rent or buy. Other breastfeeding items are also available.

Baby Weigh Station
You might wonder if your baby is gaining the appropriate amount of weight. Bring your infant to the weigh station to find out just how much baby has gained. No appointment is necessary and the service is FREE.

Breast Pump Rental

Breastfeeding Moms Group
Join other breastfeeding mothers and share breastfeeding experiences and information.
Daytime group: Thursdays; 1:30 p.m.
Evening group: Second and fourth Tuesdays; 6 p.m.

Breastfeeding Preparation Class
Learn from lactation educators about the natural process of breastfeeding, lactation and physiology of the breast, positioning, identification of infant feeding cues, nutrition and storage of breast milk. Classes should be completed two to six weeks before your due date. Support person encouraged to attend at no additional cost.

Breastfeeding Support Group
Ask questions and share experiences with other breastfeeding moms while providing support for each other with a Lactation Counselor moderator. You are encouraged to bring your breastfeeding baby. Call for dates and times.

Infant Medical Scale Rental
Some infants need closer weight gain monitoring. For your convenience, medical grade scales are available to rent for home use.

Mothers’ Milk Bank of Ohio
The Mothers’ Milk Bank of Ohio, a service of Grant Medical Center, provides human milk to premature infants and babies who are failing to thrive or have life-threatening diseases or conditions.

Nursing Bra Fittings and Sales
We offer the best selection of quality nursing bras in the region. Choose from styles by Bravado, Medela and Fancee Free. Bras are professionally fitted for comfort and function. Appointment recommended.
