   Stress Management and Reduction

Alexander Technique Approach
to Reducing Stress

Recognize the unconstructive, habitual ways we think about stressful situations. Creatively root out thought language that implies fixation, lack of possibility or motion and substitute language of choice, freedom and possibility. Explore how consciously easing your mind in this way actually reduces the stress and startle manifestations in the body such as tense neck and restricted breathing. Wear comfortable clothing to move and lay down freely. No dresses.
