Giving Back
Partnering with Our Community
By Pamela Walrod, Director of Community Relations

WITH THE HELP OF THE TENET HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION, PLACENTIA-LINDA HOSPITAL SEEKS TO IMPROVE PEOPLE'S LIVES IN OUR COMMUNITIES BY SUPPORTING LOCAL CHARITIES AND NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. WE HAVE A SIMPLE PHILOSOPHY – WE BELIEVE IN GIVING SOMETHING BACK TO THOSE WE SERVE.

PL receives approximately $30,000 in grants annually from the Tenet Healthcare Foundation to be used in the following categories: health and wellness, health education, human services, community events, and the arts and humanities.

PL partners with several community organizations, such as the Yorba Linda Community Foundation (top left) and the Yorba Linda Unified School District (top right)

In addition to our Foundation grants, Placentia- Linda Hospital donates more than $35,000 to sponsor local community events including health fairs, schools, festivals, Boy and Girl Scouts, churches, youth sports teams and more in Placentia, Yorba Linda, Brea and Anaheim Hills.

We also offer a comprehensive community education program. You can often find us at health fairs or events in the area educating the public on health and wellness or providing preventive screenings. We also host numerous education workshops and preventive screenings at PL as well as at local senior and community centers, senior living centers and schools.
