Veronica Gray was living a nice retired life. Not the type to sit around the house, she spent her days taking care of children while their parents were at work. The easy-going days came to an abrupt end in 2005 when biopsy results showed she had breast cancer.

Fiscal year 2007 was an exceptional year for St. Mary Medical Center. The Medical Center gauges its successes by looking at its accomplishments in key areas, such as community, service, growth, quality and people. The Medical Center saw numerous accomplishments in each area.

  

St. Mary Purchases Surgery Center

In the summer, St. Mary Medical Center purchased a surgery center to expand its ability to provide greater and more convenient care to patients and physicians. The Outpatient Surgery Pavilion will ultimately provide a wide range of outpatient surgeries that will be implemented in
three phases.

  

St. Mary Helps Re-Open Community Pool

More than 4,000 Adelanto children enjoyed a wet and healthy summer thanks to the re-opening of the Adelanto community pool.
